Brian Toomey is Director of Acquisitions for Essex Capital, LLC and is responsible for deal sourcing, property underwriting and escrow management. Mr. Toomey was previously a property manager and district manager for JMB and Lexford Properties. In addition, Mr. Toomey has worked as both a property appraiser and multi-family development consultant. He is licensed as an appraiser in California and Illinois. Mr. Toomey received his Bachelor of Science, with a degree in finance, from Illinois State University, in 1990.
Bryson Young is an Acquisition Associate for Essex Capital. He is responsible for assisting in the identification of properties for acquisition as well as for property underwriting. Bryson previously worked for Sudler Property Management as an Assistant Manager for a 624-unit high rise condo located in the prominent Gold Coast area of Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University, where he studied Communications with a concentration in Organizational Communications and Business. While at Northwestern, Bryson was a member of the nationally recognized Wildcat Golf team.
